On June 1, I played J. S. Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in E
minor (“The Cathedral”), BWV 533, two times.
The first was as a prelude before the 10:30 am Mass at St. John’s in
Bangor.

The second time was at the Member
Recital of the Bangor Chapter of the American Guild of Organists at the Orono United Methodist
Church.

the June 1 Member Recital of the Bangor Chapter of the American Guild of
Organists (AGO) on the Emmons Howard (1891) organ at the Orono United Methodist
Church. The theme of the recital was
Bach and his contemporaries. All the music was composed by J. S. Bach or
someone else who lived during the time Bach was alive (1685-1750).
